Living For The Weekend: A 2025 Diary By The BBG

I'm looking over the Wall, and they're looking at meYeah. It's late, we know. But it's here now, so skip the rest of this page and just buy one.

Oh, you're still here. Well, here's a quick overview for the latecomers.

Since 2012, The Belated Birthday Girl has been publishing her own diary via lulu.com. Regular readers know the story: fed up with the way that ordinary diaries leave a tiny amount of space for Saturday and Sunday - the most important days of the week - she designed one that allocates as many pages to the weekend as to the working week, and sent it out into the world via my print-on-demand portal. And now it's 2025, and she's got more books on there than I have.

The fourteenth edition of Living For The Weekend has much the same features as the first one had. Two pages per week, one for Monday to Friday, the other for Saturday and Sunday! Calendars for three years! Important dates highlighted, including seven sumo tournaments rather than the usual six! The usual dodge regarding the inclusion of your local public transport map! Plus, for the thirteenth year in a row, there's space to document your progress on your project for 2025: to visit at least twelve vineyards or wineries before the end of the year. (This would normally be the point where we'd discuss our own personal progress on the 2024 project, to visit at least twelve DJ/club nights no matter how inappropriately aged you may be. That, however, is a story that requires a full page on its own, which will be coming soon.)

Times are hard for all of us these days, so I'm afraid that the £3.99 cover price (plus postage and packing) charged in previous years is no longer viable. It's with a heavy heart that we've had to increase the price this year to £4.00 (plus postage and packing), and anyone who says that it was a typo we failed to spot is a liar. Click the cover image below and get one for yourselves: okay, the chances of you getting to use the January pages are slim to none, but nobody's that busy in January.
